The Geona suite of data products and software is produced by PML Applications, a diverse marine environmental consultancy, providing scientific research, consulting and training services to help you understand the marine environment’s impact on your business, and your impact on the marine environment.
The Geona products developed by the digital division of PML Applications is a suite of interconnected digital products and data services, including software for processing hyperspectral data, the Intelligent Data Hub for pre-processed and on-demand data products, a web-based GIS platform for data visualisation and analysis, and monitoring/alerting tools.
Together these products deliver geospatial business intelligence of the natural environment, leading to improved environmental monitoring and a more informed response to negative or damaging effects of human activity within it.
The data products which Geona delivers will help governmental and non-governmental organisations develop policies for quantifying and addressing the effects of a changing climate; help large and small commercial organisations to develop products which meet customer needs without harming the environment; and will increase awareness around specific topics with a free-tier of information for news media, general public, and schools/education.
